Traydon's Vision of Closeness
Invocation Of Closeness

Maybe I desire a closeness.
Maybe I desire to close in.
Get to the knowing of you,
of what you do.
So give me clues.
Take a portrait picture, a selfie.
Let the imagery tell me—
so many clues, so wealthy.
Believe, I might believe it's you.
I might believe I knew.
I may see something new,
something more to you.
To you.
A little more of you.
But what if I met you in person?
Held hands, closely standing.
Hug, love, entranced in.
My heart pounding, I feel deep in.
Deep in,
intimacy creeping.
I'm seeking just a little more of you.
Ego weakens for a moment with you.
Induced by the locked keys of ours,
keyed in, locked hands.
Nothing to stop me from looking into your eyes.
I love your eyes—
their dilation
when I make you smile,
when I make you so joyful, like
back when you were a child.
When I call forth your
joy,
That joy on speed dial, like
I've been looking for this for a while now.
It's all
shown in you.
You.
It's been shown to do so many things to me.
I've been having so many dreams in me,
all that it seems to be.
I lose the scenes, but the feeling stays with me.
But now you're here.
The image is clear.
So come near.
Come close.

Conceptualizing the Symbols
Eyes and Seeing: In the poem, the eyes' dilation when making the beloved smile signifies the joy and connection felt. Dreaming of eyes might suggest the desire to truly "see" and be seen, highlighting the need for mutual understanding and emotional transparency.
Hands and Touch: Holding hands and the tactile sensations mentioned symbolize a desire for physical and emotional intimacy. In dreams, this can indicate seeking closeness and support from others, as well as a deep longing for partnership and connection.
Heart and Emotion: The heart pounding symbolizes intense emotion and passion. Dreams featuring a pounding heart may reflect the dreamer's emotional state and desire for profound connections that resonate deeply.
Child and Innocence: Mentioning childhood evokes a sense of pure joy and simplicity. Dreams about childhood or being a child often represent a longing to return to a state of innocence and unfiltered happiness, indicating a desire for uncomplicated, genuine connections.
Keys and Unlocking: Keys represent access to deeper levels of the self and relationships. Dreaming of keys might suggest that the dreamer is on the verge of unlocking hidden emotions or desires, seeking deeper understanding and connection.
Smile and Joy: Making the beloved smile symbolizes the joy found in the relationship. Dreams about smiling can indicate a desire to spread happiness and positivity, reflecting the dreamer's wish to nurture joyful, loving connections.

Reflection on Intimacy and Connection
Eyes have always been significant to me. They are portals through which we truly see one another, where an interlocking of gazes can occur. This mutual seeing is a profound form of connection. The hands, when they touch, find a way to transcend the physical realm, reaching into something beyond, something otherworldly. The heart beats like a symphony, full of intensity and passion, unrestricted by any rations; it just happens. This state is one that makes you want to stay awake and bask in its presence.
This sensation is akin to pure joy and play, uncomplicated and natural. It's an unlocking—a continual unlocking—revealing more and more levels of joy and smiles. Reflecting on what I've just channeled, I recognize this feeling as it unfolds, despite the uncertainties and challenges. It is a feeling that happens and occurs, guiding me towards an unknown yet hopeful future.
